Well here it is, the long anticipated (?) release of Shane's X10 Controller.
Works with: X10 Firecracker (CM17A) modules.

As seen here, you can "skin" this app by creating background images
and buttons.
Instructions and such: (these are all covered in the readme file, in fact, this IS the readme file.)
Installation Instructions:
1: Run Setup.exe included in the package.
2: run the program and set up personalized settings.
3: Choose skins from the folder unzipped with this package. (skin1.bmp, onbutton.gif,
offbutton.bmp, etc...)
OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS:
The buttons on the upper right hand side of the controller are for resizing
and closing the controller.
"X" closes the application
">" or "<" resizes the controller's width (for use of the 9-16 commands)
"*" Shows or hides the House Code section.
Other Basic Controls:
Double Click an edge of the controller to "minimize" it. This will send the controller to a small tab on your desktop. You can move this tab anywhere you like.
Double click the tab again to bring the controller back up.
Right Click an edge of the Controller to access the settings control panel
SETTINGS PANEL FUNCTIONS:
SET BACKGROUND COLOR: sets the backround color (only visible if you are not using a skin for the controller background.
SET LABEL COLOR: sets the color of all labels (1-16 and "X"">""*")
SET LABEL FONT: sets the font for all labels
SET BACKGROUND IMAGE: sets the skin for the background of the controller (bitmaps only)
SET SKIN FOR ON BUTTONS: sets skin for "on" buttons, you can use BMP, JPG, GIF, and a few other popular formats.
SET SKIN FOR OFF BUTTONS: sets skin for "off" buttons, you can use BMP, JPG, GIF, and a few other popular formats.
RESET ALL SKINS TO DEFAULT: Use this to set the skins (background and buttons) to default settings. Changes will be applied the next time you restart the controller.
UNLOAD BACKGROUND IMAGE: use this setting if you would like to use a solid colored background without an image skin.
USE STANDARD BUTTONS: use windows standard command buttons (like regular windows app).
USE COM: select the COM port that your firecracker module is attached to (the default is "1").
Background Skins are 170 by 140 (or 81 by 140 for small version only) Button skins are 22 x 15 (these sizes are not requirements, but will help your images look their best)
